Recycling capability for the bodywork and equipment
The traditional base vehicle for dual purpose vehicles has been panel vans. With the high mileage use to which these vehicle are inevitably put, the vehicle's life is much shorter than our heavy duty bodywork and equipment.
By using chassis/cab units rather than panel vans, and designing the bodywork and equipment to be demountable, the vehicle unit can be replaced when it reaches the end of its useful life.
